For musical performances:
The price will, of course, depend on the required duration of the performance, as well as the number of musicians.
Here is the minimum rate according to The Faroe Islands Musician’s Association – examples:
- For a performance of up to half an hour with me alone, the starting price is:
DKK 3,000 / € 402 / £ 315 / $ 414 without VAT - For performances of up to half an hour with two musicians
(e.g. me + a guitarist) the starting rate is:
DKK 4,000 / € 536 / £ 420 / $ 552 without VAT - For performances of up to half an hour with three musicians
(e.g. me + a guitarist + a bassist) is the starting rate:
DKK 5,000 / € 670 / £ 525 / $ 690 without VAT - For performances of up to half an hour with four musicians
(e.g. me + a guitarist + a bassist + a drummer) the starting rate is:
DKK 6,000 / € 804 / £ 630 / $ 828 without VAT - For performances of up to half an hour with five musicians
(e.g. me + a guitarist + a bassist + a drummer + a keyboardist) the starting rate is:
DKK 7,500 / € 1005 / £ 795 / $ 1410 without VAT
For extra time beyond the first half hour, the rate is:
DKK 500 / € 67 / £ 53 / $ 94 without VAT per half hour per person
